As global attention converges on the world’s most watched sporting stage, Richard Mille introduces a timepiece that transcends measurement—entering the realm of interpretation.
The RM 41-01 Tourbillon Soccer is not simply engineered to track time. It is conceived to mirror the architecture of the game itself—its tension, its structure, its moments of decisive impact.
At $1.94 million(approximately R36 million), this is not a watch designed for spectatorship.
It is designed for proximity to the moment.

A New Language of Performance
Rather than evolving an existing reference, Richard Mille approaches the RM 41-01 as a departure—an assertion that modern horology must engage with the environments that define contemporary culture.
Building on the sporting lineage of the RM 11 series—most notably pieces associated with figures such as Roberto Mancini—this latest creation moves beyond association into integration.
At its core lies a newly developed calibre, the result of a five-year collaboration with Audemars Piguet. Constructed in titanium, the movement combines a tourbillon escapement with a flyback chronograph, delivering both mechanical purity and functional precision.
Yet the true significance of the RM 41-01 lies not in what it measures—but in what it understands.

Time, Reinterpreted Through the Game
Positioned at 9 o’clock, a dedicated match-time indicator reflects the cadence of professional football. With each reset, the system advances seamlessly from first half to second—extending even into extra time, echoing the unpredictability that defines the sport.
Encircling the openworked architecture, dual mechanical goal counters introduce a rare form of interaction. Activated via pushers, they allow the wearer to record the unfolding narrative of a match—transforming the watch from an instrument of time into an instrument of memory.
In this, Richard Mille reframes horology as participatory—a system that does not observe the moment, but engages with it.

Material as Identity
The RM 41-01 is housed within the brand’s signature tonneau case—an architectural form that has become synonymous with Richard Mille’s visual language.
For this edition, two material executions are introduced:
a maroon Basalt TPT, derived from volcanic rock and engineered for resilience, and a deep blue Quartz TPT, offering both durability and chromatic depth.
Skeletonised surfaces, microblasted bridges, and dark PVD finishes create a composition that is as technical as it is sculptural—where every detail exists in service of both performance and presence.

Rarity, Defined
Limited to just 30 pieces globally, the RM 41-01 exists within the highest tier of contemporary watchmaking—where scarcity is not a strategy, but a condition of relevance.
It will not exist in volume.
It will exist in proximity—to private collections, to controlled environments, to moments of significance.

Grandiose Perspective
What Richard Mille presents here is not simply a tribute to football.
It is a statement on the evolution of luxury itself.
The most advanced objects are no longer passive.
They respond. They record. They participate.
In an era where global spectacles—from the World Cup to the private salon—define cultural visibility, the RM 41-01 positions horology not as an observer of time, but as an active counterpart to the moment.
And in doing so, it reinforces a quiet truth:
Luxury, at its highest level, does not follow the stage.
It becomes part of it.
