During the past 12 months we have witnessed the introductions of distinctive out of this world concept cars at various international car trade shows in 2017 , mostly fully electric , some autonomous , but most of all beautiful designs and lot of improvements in technology.

Our Top three concept cars for 2017 that really astonished us and most decisively had our readers excited.

  1. Mercedes-Maybach 6 cabriolet concept: a 6 meter long  electric vehicle like no other

At Pebble, Carlifornia  beach Mecedes-Benz unveiled its awe-inspiring vision mercedes-maybach 6’ concept , a stunning  frill cabriolet. The two seater definetly carries the Mecedes Benz torch to the future. The electric cabriolet measures about 6 metres in dimension , comes with an output of 55kW and an underfloor battery that allows a range of over 500KM .

2. AUDI’s all-electric ‘Aicon’ luxurious concept

At the Frankfurt motor show, AUDI showcased   its ‘Aicon’ concept car — an all-electric luxury vehicle that can drive up to 800 kilometers on just a  single charge. the self-driven  vehicle features four doors, has no steering wheel or pedals, combines innovations and creativity like no other ,intended for virtuously functional tenacities, the car combines the benefits of an average car with the feel of a first-class airline cabin.

3. The full electric micro bus VW I.D. Buzz Concept

The electric car era is here and Volkswagen is set to be in the forefront: with the Microbus I.D. BUZZ, Volkswagen presented the full electric Microbus at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit ,the Microbus concept gives a fresh futuristic appeal – with the goal to bring electric mobility to everyone into the future. At a charging power of 150 kW, it takes around 30 minutes to charge up to 80 per cent.

Bugatti has delivered the final Mistral, bringing the marque’s iconic W-16 era to a close after more than two decades of redefining the hypercar.

Powered by a 1,578 hp quad-turbocharged 8.0-litre W-16, the Mistral is also the world’s fastest open-top production car, reaching an incredible 453 km/h.

While Bugatti now enters the hybrid age with the Tourbillon, the W-16 will forever remain one of the greatest engines ever built.
