Bugatti Brings Its World Of Luxury To Miami With A R10.8 Billion Waterfront Tower

The French hypercar marque is extending its design philosophy into branded real estate with 183 residences, four signature penthouses and more than 300 feet of Miami River frontage.

Bugatti has spent more than a century defining luxury through automobiles. Now, the French marque is taking that philosophy off the road and into one of the world’s most competitive luxury property markets.

In partnership with Prosper Group and Belgian developer Versluys Group, Bugatti has unveiled Bugatti Residences Miami, a 60-storey waterfront development valued at approximately US$650 million, or R10.8 billion. Located in Miami’s Brickell district, the project will comprise 183 residences, including four signature penthouses, with more than 300 feet of Miami River frontage and direct access to Biscayne Bay.

For Bugatti, the development represents more than a new property venture. It is an extension of the marque’s design philosophy into architecture, interiors and hospitality, creating a residential environment intended to feel as distinctive as the automobiles that carry the Bugatti name.

From Molsheim To Miami

Bugatti’s identity has always extended beyond outright performance. Founded by Ettore Bugatti in Molsheim, the marque built its reputation around engineering, craftsmanship, exclusivity and an uncompromising approach to design.

The philosophy is captured in one of the company’s most recognisable principles: “If comparable, it is no longer Bugatti.”

That idea takes on a different meaning when applied to property.

Rather than simply placing the Bugatti name on a residential tower, the Miami project seeks to translate elements of the marque’s visual and design language into an entire living environment.

It follows the introduction of the Bugatti Tourbillon, the marque’s 1,775-horsepower hybrid hypercar, which similarly combines advanced engineering with highly detailed mechanical craftsmanship.

The product may be different, but the underlying philosophy remains consistent.

A Bugatti Shape In The Skyline

The tower is being designed by Brandon Haw Architecture, with the architecture drawing directly from Bugatti’s automotive heritage.

One of the most recognisable references is the marque’s distinctive C-line, which has been translated into the building’s facade to give the structure a sculptural sense of movement.

The result is intended to connect the visual language of Bugatti’s cars with Miami’s increasingly distinctive architectural landscape.

Inside, Yabu Pushelberg, the internationally recognised design studio behind luxury hospitality names including Aman and Four Seasons, will create bespoke residential environments that carry Bugatti’s design philosophy into the living space.

Rather than treating the automotive heritage as surface decoration, the ambition is to make the relationship between car, architecture and interior more integrated.

183 Residences On The Miami River

The location is central to the proposition.

Bugatti Residences Miami will rise along the waterfront at 75 SW Miami Avenue Road in Brickell, occupying what the developers describe as one of the neighbourhood’s final prime coastal parcels.

The development will feature more than 300 feet of Miami River frontage, with direct access towards Biscayne Bay.

Within the 60-storey tower will be 183 residences, while four signature penthouses will occupy the upper tier of the development.

The combination of waterfront location, limited residential inventory and a globally recognised luxury marque places the project squarely within Miami’s ultra-prime property market.

The Experience Beyond The Address

The experience will extend beyond architecture and interiors.

Rhodium, the Monaco-based luxury operator, has been appointed as the global residential partner, bringing white-glove hospitality and dedicated butler service to the tower.

The emphasis is on privacy, personalisation and service more commonly associated with the world’s most exclusive hotels.

“Miami has become the global epicenter for wealth migration and sophisticated living,” said Jay Roberts, CEO of Prosper Group. “It is a natural home for Bugatti’s branded residential debut in the United States.”

For residents, the proposition is therefore not simply ownership of an apartment. It is entry into a carefully constructed Bugatti environment.

The Rise Of The Branded Residence

Bugatti’s move into Miami reflects a broader evolution within the luxury market.

The world’s most recognisable brands are increasingly extending their identities beyond their traditional categories. Fashion houses are moving into hospitality, watchmakers are entering architecture and automotive marques are creating residences that translate their design languages into entirely new environments.

Bugatti has already explored this territory with its residential project in Dubai.

Miami represents another step in that strategy, placing the marque within a city where international wealth, luxury property, hospitality and design increasingly converge.

For South African luxury consumers, the development is particularly relevant to a wider global trend. The country’s affluent buyers have long participated in international luxury markets, from London and Dubai to New York and Miami. Branded residences increasingly sit within that same ecosystem of global property, hospitality and lifestyle.

More Than A Logo

The challenge for any branded residence is moving beyond the name on the entrance.

Bugatti’s proposition is strongest where its automotive design language becomes part of the architecture itself: the C-line, sculptural forms, carefully considered interiors and a service philosophy designed around exclusivity.

That is ultimately what separates a branded residence from a conventional luxury development carrying a prestigious name.

The ambition is to create a place where the brand is experienced rather than simply displayed.

From The Road To The Address

Sales for Bugatti Residences Miami are scheduled to launch in the first half of 2027.

The project follows Bugatti’s continuing expansion into a broader luxury ecosystem in which automobiles, architecture, hospitality and private living increasingly occupy the same space.

For more than a century, Bugatti has created automobiles designed to be recognised immediately and remembered long after they have disappeared from view.

Now the marque is applying that same ambition to a different kind of object: a building that will remain part of Miami’s skyline long after its residents have closed their doors.

Bugatti is no longer designing only for the road. It is designing the address.

KARUIZAWA 1960: THE WHISKY BOTTLE THAT EXISTS TWIC KARUIZAWA 1960: THE WHISKY BOTTLE THAT EXISTS TWICE IN HISTORY

On 18 September, Sotheby’s will offer one of the most extraordinary bottles in Japanese whisky collecting: Karuizawa 1960 Cask #5627, “The Prototype.”

Estimated at $400,000–$600,000, the bottle was drawn directly from Karuizawa’s oldest cask on 20 December 2012, before the celebrated 1960 vintage was commercially released.

Only two bottles were ever hand-filled directly from Cask #5627 at this pre-release stage.

This bottle was filled by Osami Uchibori, Karuizawa’s final Master Distiller, who had worked at the distillery since the cask was originally distilled in 1960.

Matured for 52 years, Cask #5627 ultimately yielded just 41 commercially available bottles.

The Prototype is more than an exceptionally rare whisky.

It is a surviving piece of a distillery that can never produce again.

Some bottles preserve whisky. Others preserve history.
