Inspired by the symmetrical bodies of jellyfish, the MB&F HM7 Aquapod Watch embodies a outward symmetric design. Instantly noticeable underneath the domed sapphire is the central airborne tourbillion, which sits atop a vertical crusade that includes a winding rotor with “tentacles” crafted from a block of solid titanium.
As a water-focused watch, it has a unsteering rotating ceramic bezel, although it’s water resilient to only 150 feet. The indications, which rotate around the center, are treated with Super-Luminova for readability under the surface, as are select rotor segments, letting you appreciate the movement even in darkness. It’s finished with an aircraft-grade rubber strap and is limited to just 33 examples in grade 5 titanium with a blue bezel, and 66 examples in 18 karat red gold with a black bezel.
