From August 29 to 31, the legendary Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit will once again come alive as the Festival of Motoring, powered by WesBank, returns for its much-anticipated 8th edition.
This prestigious motoring event brings together the best of global automotive design, engineering, and culture — featuring leading vehicle manufacturers, performance showcases, and immersive experiences that cater to enthusiasts, families, and industry professionals alike.
Rooted in the spirit of Ubuntu, the 2025 edition places collaboration, community, and creativity at the heart of its experience. With over 100 exhibitors and 22 top-tier automotive brands confirmed, this year’s Festival promises to raise the bar on what a modern motor show can be.
What to Expect at FOM 2025
The paddocks of Kyalami will come alive with over 60 pit doors showcasing an extraordinary lineup of automotive icons. Visitors can expect appearances from major brands including Volkswagen, Toyota, Suzuki, MG, Chery, Lexus, Isuzu, Subaru, Mahindra, LDV, Shelby, Omoda, Jaecoo, GAC, BAIC, GWM, Haval, Ora, Tank, and many more — making it one of the most comprehensive car festivals on the continent.
More than just a display, FOM 2025 invites you to take the wheel with over 10,000 test drive opportunities across multiple terrains. Whether you’re exploring the elegance of a luxury sedan or the roar of a high-performance sports car, it’s a hands-on experience built for every kind of motor enthusiast.
Adrenaline will be in no short supply. The 4×4 Adventure Zone, Takealot Self-Handling Track, and hot laps with the Simola Hill Climb and FoM Supercar Experience promise high-speed thrills. Spectators can also look forward to competitive racing showdowns, including the Shelby Time Challenge and the high-octane ZX10 Masters Cup.
But FOM 2025 isn’t only about cars — it’s a full lifestyle experience. Families and lifestyle lovers can indulge in a vibrant atmosphere with over 100 retail and lifestyle exhibitors, immersive gaming zones, karting, racing simulators, and kids’ activities. A mini carnival featuring a Ferris wheel and curated gourmet food and beverage offerings rounds out the festival vibe.
