Italian haute perfumery meets supercar design in a three-fragrance collaboration built around anticipation, adrenaline and the afterglow of the drive.

The worlds of haute perfumery and Italian automotive design rarely collide with this much precision. Xerjoff and Automobili Lamborghini have brought them together in a three-fragrance collection that translates the emotional experience of driving a Lamborghini into scent.

The collaboration forms part of Xerjoff Blends, the house’s initiative exploring new creative territories through partnerships with culturally significant worlds. Here, the meeting point is distinctly Italian: craftsmanship, design, performance and an uncompromising pursuit of excellence.

The collection — Fierezza, Avanguardia and Perseveranza — is conceived as a three-part sensory journey.

Rather than creating three fragrances that simply reference the Lamborghini name, the collaboration follows the emotional progression of a drive: anticipation, adrenaline and fulfilment.

Fierezza: The anticipation

Fierezza captures the moment before the drive begins — the instant of entering the car, taking hold of the steering wheel and sensing that something is about to happen.

Its composition combines pink pepper, incense, davana and marine nuances with floral notes, amber, myrrh and suede. The result is confident and polished, with a distinctly tactile character.

The name itself reflects Lamborghini’s pride in its engineering, craftsmanship, design philosophy and Italian identity.

Avanguardia: The adrenaline

Then comes Avanguardia.

This is the most visceral stage of the experience: acceleration, engine noise, speed and the sensation of total control.

Cherry and davana open the composition before fractionated patchouli, black violet and woody, leathery nuances push the fragrance into darker territory. Tonka bean and styrax provide the foundation.

It is appropriately named Avanguardia — a word associated with being ahead of one’s time and challenging convention.

Perseveranza: The afterglow

Perseveranza represents what comes after the intensity — arriving at the destination and experiencing the lingering emotion of the journey.

Ginger, cedrat and pimento berry create a bright opening, followed by clove, vetiver and elemi. Tonka bean, styrax and cistus oil give the dry-down a warmer, subtly smoky and ambery character.

Where Avanguardia is about force, Perseveranza is about resolve.

Where automotive design meets perfumery

The collaboration extends beyond the juice inside the bottle.

The Xerjoff flacons adopt Lamborghini-inspired colour treatments and a matte finish, while the traditional Xerjoff XJ emblem is replaced by the Automobili Lamborghini shield — a first for the house. The packaging incorporates a hexagonal motif inspired by Lamborghini’s design language.

There is also a particularly considered physical detail inside each coffret: an authentic piece of leather sourced from Lamborghini’s upholstery department.

Rather than treating it as waste, the fragment becomes part of the presentation — a small physical reminder of the craftsmanship behind the collaboration.

It is this attention to material and detail that makes the partnership feel more substantial than a conventional automotive licensing exercise.

Both brands are essentially translating the same philosophy into different disciplines.

Lamborghini expresses it through form, engineering and performance.

Xerjoff expresses it through composition, materials and scent.

Together, they create a different interpretation of the Italian luxury object — one that cannot simply be seen, but experienced.

A new dimension of Italian luxury

Sergio Momo, founder and creative director of Xerjoff, describes the collaboration as a meeting between two worlds that share a commitment to the “Made in Italy” ethos, excellence and creative expression.

And perhaps that is what makes the collection compelling.

A Lamborghini is designed to create an emotional response before the engine is even started. Xerjoff’s fragrances attempt something similar without an engine, wheels or speedometer.

The experience simply moves from the road to the skin.

Before every Bentley becomes an icon, it begins as Before every Bentley becomes an icon, it begins as a sketch.

At the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Bentley celebrated the art behind automotive design by inviting acclaimed illustrator Stefan Marjoram to become its Artist-in-Residence.

Rather than simply displaying extraordinary cars, Bentley transformed its pavilion into a live studio where visitors watched modern grand tourers and century-old classics come to life through hand-drawn illustrations.

It’s a reminder that true luxury starts long before the factory floor—with imagination, creativity and the first confident line of a pencil.

Because every masterpiece begins as an idea.
