Limited to just 150 examples, Aston Martin’s latest Special Vehicle Operations creation combines a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 with experimental materials, 3D-printed titanium and a colour-shifting exterior.
Aston Martin is taking its bespoke philosophy into more experimental territory with the Valen, an ultra-exclusive supercar that pushes the marque’s Special Vehicle Operations programme beyond conventional coachbuilding.
Previewed at Aston Martin’s headquarters in Gaydon, UK, ahead of its public debut at The Quail during Monterey Car Week 2026, the Valen joins the marque’s growing family of low-volume creations alongside the Valour, Valiant and DBR22.
Only 150 examples of the Valen will be produced, with customer deliveries scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2027.
What immediately distinguishes the Valen is its approach to material and form. Its body is constructed entirely from carbon fibre, while 3D-printed components and titanium elements introduce a level of technical sophistication beneath the dramatic exterior.

A body that changes with the light
The Valen’s design combines a low-slung cabin, wide tracks and sharply defined surfaces with smoother sculptural forms.
Its signature Satin Andromeda Red finish uses Chromaflair interference pigments, creating a shifting visual effect as light moves across the body. Depending on the angle, the colour can transition through shades of red, copper, gold and blue.
Exposed carbon-fibre panels are finished with a clear ceramic coating, allowing the weave itself to become part of the visual language.
At the front, recessed headlights sit above a geometric radiator aperture, while elongated side strakes draw air from the wheel arches towards the muscular rear haunches. Along the lower body, stepped sills incorporate saw-tooth vortex generators designed to manage airflow.

The V12 remains at the heart
Beneath the vented bonnet sits a 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 producing 838 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque.
Power is sent through an eight-speed ZF transmission incorporating shift strategies derived from Aston Martin’s Vantage GT4 racing programme.
The result is a claimed 0–60 mph time of 3.0 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 214 mph (344 km/h).
But the Valen’s performance story isn’t simply about adding power.
Aston Martin has worked to reduce weight through extensive use of carbon fibre, magnesium wheels and titanium fasteners, with the programme removing up to 110 kg from the core chassis. An optional lightweight suspension package saves a further 16.9 kg through machined aluminium arms and knuckles.

An exhaust engineered to sound different
Perhaps the most fascinating technical detail sits at the rear.
Instead of a conventional glass rear window, the Valen uses a solid carbon-fibre tailgate incorporating a 170-litre luggage compartment.
Below it sits a titanium exhaust system with four outlets. The upper two are 3D-printed titanium structures inspired by organ pipes, designed to manipulate the exhaust sound.
According to Aston Martin, the system can increase acoustic levels by as much as 50 percent across the rev range compared with standard V12 platforms.

Inside, technology becomes sculpture
The same philosophy continues inside the cockpit.
A driver-focused centre console derived from the Valhalla incorporates a reclined touchscreen and performance controls, while a central 3D-printed titanium matrix becomes an architectural element within the cabin.
Perforated titanium details echo the cooling structures found on the exterior, while custom anodised aluminium switchgear adds another layer of material contrast.
Customers can choose between Sports Plus seats and lightweight carbon-fibre performance seats, with interior specifications ranging from Monotone and Duotone through to Tritone and the more driver-focused configuration.
Semi-Aniline leather and Alcantara are combined with variable quilting and embroidery, creating visual changes across the headliner, floor mats and headrests.
The new language of bespoke
The Valen ultimately represents something larger than another limited-production Aston Martin.
It demonstrates how the marque’s bespoke division is increasingly using materials, sound, colour, digital manufacturing and craftsmanship as design tools in their own right.
At a time when automotive luxury is increasingly defined by electrification, software and digital interfaces, Aston Martin has chosen to make the Valen an intensely physical experience — carbon fibre you can see, titanium you can touch, a colour that changes in the light and a V12 that announces its presence through a highly engineered exhaust note.
With just 150 examples destined for production, the Valen is not designed to become commonplace.
It is designed to become collectible.
